Wonderful! I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with the characters and the storyline was different from anything I’ve read before. For me it was very believable, because I’ve heard stories from my English grandmother about how girls were treated in the 30’s thru the 60’s when they had babies out of wedlock. The writing was great and I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading period pieces and love sometimes gone wrong. , ‘

Deceit....A story that impacted, even cut short so many lives. Well written, with twists and turns in a hunt for the truth.

I am sorry to say this book did not live up to the five star reviews and comments, at least for me. I found it slow and predictable.
